StratApp will be present at the 2nd International Conference on Corpus Analysis in Academic Discourse that will take place next November 14-16 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain).
Hortènsia Curell, Clara Ballart and Paola Nicolás, all involved in the StratApp project, will present the paper "The academization of texts for StratApp", that will shed light on the process of adapting different texts to make them usable in the app. That is, to create B1 and B2 texts with the linguistic and generic features typical from academic texts.
StratApp is now in the second phase of the project, consisting in the pedagogical design of the app. This includes the devise of activities that might be useful to improve the reading academic skills and strategies of university students.
